Kylie Jenner, founder of Kylie Cosmetics, will be on the cover of the Forbes August 2018 issue — as the youngest-ever self-made billionaire. She will turn 21 in August. 

Forbes reports that the reality-star-turned-cosmetics-queen built a $900 million fortune in less than three years thanks to her growing beauty empire. 

Kylie Cosmetics launched its infamous $29 Lip Kit two years ago, and, Forbes states, “has sold more than $630 million worth of makeup since, including an estimated $330 million in 2017.” Forbes values her company at nearly $800 million — and Jenner owns 100% of it. 

Kylie Cosmetics has had a few bumps in the road, which is to be expected from a company growing so quickly — packaging problems, a copyright lawsuit, and some fans even said her blush names were too sexy. 

None of that matters however, when your fans are fiercely loyal — and Jenner boasts 110 million followers on Instagram, plus 16.5 million followers for Kylie Cosmetics’ IG account. On Twitter, Jenner has 25.6 million followers.  

And Jenner looks out for her fans. Jenner hand-delivered an eyeshadow palette to surprise a lucky shopper once, and warns her followers about buying products from shady online sources that proved to be counterfeit.
